What the health?
I’ve never fancied covering politics, but one aspect of election years that I’ve grown to enjoy is watching candidates debate the ins and outs of their plans for health care reform. I can’t imagine having to memorize something so complex and explaining it on live television in front of the whole country in a matter of minutes. Here’s to hoping we get more of that in the next presidential debate.
In the meantime, I’d love to know what kind of health policy stories matter most to you all right now. Is it drug prices, our COVID-19 response, surprise medical bills? I wouldn’t complain about getting through this election year without having to re-read parts of the Affordable Care Act, but are y’all really going to let me off that easy?
