Yin and Yang
We started this month with a focus on some scary statistics related to the already volatile restaurant industry and how some local restaurateurs are adapting to help keep from becoming one of them.
According to a July report from Yelp, the industry has seen more permanent business closures than any other sector amid the ongoing pandemic, some 16,000 restaurants nationwide.
But where there is darkness there is also light. This week, our first story below offers tales of some who are starting restaurants, and hopefully stemming the tide.
