From one hard week to another
Last week was a hard week, and this one promises to be stressful, as well, while new information about the omicron variant of COVID-19 pours in.
We also learned of a new surge locally of the delta variant.
One health offcial from the hard-hit state of Maine described the double whammy this way:”Omicron is a spark that’s on the horizon. Delta variant is the fire that’s here today.” Ouch.
Also last week we listened to the very disappointing arguments at the U.S. Supreme Court – and to the even more discouraging comments and questions from the court justices.
