Mall storage building sells for $10.25 million

The Public Storage site near Hamilton Place mall has a new owner, nearly two years after the former Golfsmith store was converted into a self-storage facility.

Southeast One Inc. acquired the three-story complex that now houses Public Storage from Hamilton County Self Storage for $10.25 million, according to property filings with the Hamilton County Register of Deeds.

The 93,315-square-foot self-storage building at 2056 Hamilton Place Blvd. was redeveloped for the self-storage complex last year. Public Storage will continue to operate with the new landlord at the 1.7-acre site.

CubeSmart, one of the top three self-storage companies in the United States, manages the facility.
