Greetings, outdoorspeople!
- Weekend forecast: Saturday; high 51, partly cloudy/ Sunday; high 36, light snow
- Recommended adventure: Explore the Creative Discovery Museum. The award-winning children’s museum recently earned green|light certification for its commitment to implementing green practices, including a green roof to reduce stormwater runoff and an expansion of its solar array to reduce energy costs.
- Most interesting thing we recently learned: The Chattanooga Zoo will let you name a worm after your ex – a worm to be served as a treat to one of its animals. Learn more about the zoo’s “Quit Buggin’ Me” fundraiser here.
Oh, and in case you missed it: Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow yesterday, predicting six more weeks of winter.
