Silver Linings
There’s no doubt about it, 2020 was trying for everyone. But there are silver linings everywhere – even in 2020, though we may have to look harder to find them.
Personally, the past year brought me closer to God. When things seemed hopeless and out of my control (which was most of the year), I turned them over through prayer in a way I hadn’t been able to before, finally humbling myself in the faith that God would provide the answer.
That puts me among the quarter of U.S. adults who reported a strengthening of their faith amid the pandemic, according to a survey by nonpartisan “fact tank” the Pew Research Center.
Our first article below offers several other trends to come out of 2020 that could offer some light in and at the end of the tunnel in which we remain. Here’s to silver linings and brighter days ahead.
