Health care market heating up
When I first joined the Times Free Press in 2017, covering hospital expansion and competition between the region’s health systems took a lot of my focus, but much of that stalled during the pandemic. Those in the health care business have been understandably busy focusing on COVID-19. But now that the pandemic is better controlled, the more I hear about new projects and services in the area. My latest story on this topic looks at the market effects CHI Memorial’s plans to build a new hospital could have in North Georgia, and stay tuned for several other stories about new programs and services popping up around the region.
Stay healthy,
