Embracing Change

This week’s newsletter is dedicated to change, whether that be reimagining a city building or a personal calling.

A philosopher once said that the only thing that is constant in life is change, and surely the events of the past year and a half have proven that in spades. Following the unimaginable changes to daily life and social structure brought on by the pandemic, many are now making the jump to new jobs or home addresses, hobbies and even marital status.

This week’s newsletter will be my last before I transition to a new role with a local trade magazine. But it’s funny, the pieces for this, now sendoff, salutation and the job change that precipitated it were in the works long before I realized their significance and uncanny alignment – a testament to change’s universal nature, and a divinely timed reminder to celebrate rather than fear it.
