Your Monday at a glance:

  • Weather: High of 82, with scattered showers.
  • What to eat: Classic French stew, an easy one-pot meal and a quick and light version of a classic chicken fricassee.
  • What to do: Plan the perfect day trip, featuring a picnic, wine and view.
  • What we’re excited about: Some U.S. restaurants and stores are raising pay to attract more workers.
