* AirPower History Tour: May 23 is your last chance to check out the World War II planes that landed in Chattanooga for the weekend as part of a national air tour. The attending aircraft are a B-29 Superfortress FIFI, the most advanced bomber of the war; a P-51 Mustang Gunfighter, considered the premier fighter of all theaters; T-6 Texan, used to train aviators; Boeing Stearman, an open-cockpit biplane; and a T-34 Mentor, once the primary trainer for the U.S. Air Force. Access to cockpit tours costs $20 for adults, $10 for children 11-17. Rides range from $249 to about $3,100 depending on the plane (as available) and length of flight.
