Chattanooga ranks among top 20 best cities for young professionals

SmartAsset analyzed the 150 largest U.S. cities across nine metrics, including the cost of living, median earnings, the jobless rate and the share of the population between 25 and 34, to find the places that are best suited for young professionals. Chattanooga ranked No. 16, just behind Atlanta at No. 15. The top cities are:

2. Minneapolis, Minnesota

3. Cincinnati, Ohio

4. St. Louis, Missouri

5. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

6. Nashville

7. St. Paul, Minnesota

8. Madison, Wisconsin

9. Omaha, Nebraska

10. Boise, Idaho
