Memories in toyland
As children, we all had our favorite toy aisle, Emily Crisman recently wrote in her guide to Chattanooga’s locally owned toy stores. Mine was the stuffed animal aisle. I remember the yearning I felt walking among those shelves, desperately wishing I could adopt them all. I considered those plush toys the same as shelter pets – “pound puppies,” if you will.
