Designer Drugs is a compounding pharmacy at 7304 Jarnigan Road that works directly with patients and their prescribers to create customized treatments. The pharmacy specializes in hormone replacement therapies and a unique product called Cataractive that offers a single, simple solution to the need for multiple eye drops following cataract surgery. The pharmacy does not take insurance, instead working directly with patients and prescribers to develop affordable treatments and eliminate the overhead associated with filing insurance claims.

Pharmacist Randy Davis founded Designer Drugs in 2000. He earned his bachelor's degree from Lipscomb University in his hometown of Nashville before attending Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, for pharmacy school. Davis's mentor in the art of drug compounding was the late Charlie Armstong at Lakeside Pharmacy, where Davis worked before launching Designer Drugs. Davis also serves on medical mission trips to Haiti, partnering with Every Eye Will See Him Ministries.

Tanya Manoni is a Chattanooga native who earned her degrees in chemistry and pharmacy at the University of Utah. Before joining Designer Drugs in 2019, she spent more than a decade with Target's corporate pharmacy organization. Manoni specializes in hormone replacement therapies and working with women and girls to help them understand their bodies and how hormones influence every facet of health. Manoni played NCAA Division I college soccer and, while living in Utah, earned her level 1 certification in avalanche search and rescue.

Catherine Needham joined the Designer Drugs team in 2013 after earning her pharmacy degree at Samford University. Needham, a Chattanooga native, works with patients on hormone levels and hormone replacement therapy. She is also interested in functional/anti-aging medicine, infertility, and dermatology. In November, Needham and Manoni will speak on women's health at a TEDx conference in Chattanooga.

Cassandra Seang joined the Designer Drugs team in 2015. She is from Chattanooga, and earned a degree in chemistry at Georgia State University and a pharmacy degree at Mercer University in Atlanta. She currently leads the Cataractive team, which coordinates care for patients after cataract surgery.

Taylor Vossooghi joined Designer Drugs as a pharmacist in 2017. She works predominantly in the compounding lab, ensuring the business is compliant with best-practice guidelines. A Chattanooga native, Vossooghi earned her pharmacy degree from St. Louis College of Pharmacy.

Paige Wattenbarger worked as both pharmacy manager and staff pharmacist for a regional chain for seven years before joining Designer Drugs. She is from Columbia, Tennessee, and earned her degree in biology at Tennessee Tech University, and a pharmacy degree at Samford University.
