Good morning, Chattanooga!
Did you know that Chattanooga used to be home to the oldest Coca-Cola bottling franchise in America?
The building still stands today on Broad Street and is now home to multiple businesses including Ben and Jerry’s.
A reader reached out to the Times Free Press about an old photo he found of the establishment in hopes of finding more information.
“I do not know the exact date [of the photos] but my great uncle, who moved to Florida in 1946, is in them,” the reader said.
So of course our columnist Mark Kennedy and ChattanoogaHistory.com curator Sam Hall went on a hunt to find some answers.
