The Hamilton County Health Department will administer a second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine booster shot to individuals who are eligible.
According to a news release, Hamilton County residents who are 50 and older or individuals who are immuno-compromised may receive a second mRNA booster at all area health clinics. A second dose must be received at least four months after a first dose, the health department said.
Additionally, those that received a primary dose and booster dose of Johnson & Johnson's vaccine may now receive a second booster dose of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine, the release stated.
