Ribbon Cutters: The Kinley Chattanooga Southside is a new 64-room hotel from Chattanooga-based Vision Hospitality Group on Market Street. The hotel offers a lobby-level coffee bar, The Exchange, with a range of specialty coffee drinks and local artisan baked goods crafted from partners Goodman Coffee Roasters and Niedlov's Cafe & Bakery, transitioning through the day to a cocktail bar featuring small plates. The Kinley take a modern approach, incorporating design inspiration from local entities, featuring rich colors and earthy tones representing the surrounding natural landscape of the region.

Happy Place: W. Max Finley Stadium serves as home to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team and Chattanooga FC, a professional soccer team. The stadium also hosts various high school sports and musical concerts. Next to Finley Stadium, the First Horizon Pavilion is an open-air, 50,000-square-foot covered pavilion that can accommodate 3,000 to 4,000 people.

Shop Talk: Warehouse Row represents the history and commercial culture of Chattanooga. The site traces its beginnings as the Old Stone Fort during the Civil War. It later became a warehouse district at the turn of the 20th century. In the 1980s, the warehouses were turned into a mixed-use development. It houses restaurants and upscale shops.

Claim to fame: The Chattanooga Choo Choo's Terminal Station was built by Southern Railway in 1909 and served as an entryway to the city for rail passengers for nearly a century. Jefferson Heights Park is located in the Southside neighborhood of Jefferson Heights and features green space, a playground, community gardens, a beach volleyball court and a picnic shelter.
