Chattanooga police arrest suspect in July 31 homicide

Authorities arrested a suspect Thursday evening in connection with a July 31 shooting that killed 22-year-old Christopher Harris of Johnson City, Tennessee, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.

Chattanooga police officers, with assistance from the Chattanooga Housing Authority and the U.S. Marshal's Service, found and arrested Joe Brooks, 25, just after 6 p.m. in the 500 block of Fisher Avenue.
