Over the past few years, Chattanooga nonprofits have had to get creative with how they raise money - trading ballroom soirees for virtual get-togethers, and community walks for online auctions.
But now, as COVID vaccination rates rise and infections decrease, we are finally starting to see the return of in-person events. And that benefits more than just nonprofits.
Social activities have been shown to increase feelings of happiness and connectedness, therefore reducing one's chances of depression and even certain diseases - just like philanthropy. So why not combine the two?
Here, you'll find a year's worth of events that not only offer good old-fashioned camaraderie but ways to give back to our community, too.
