Calls made to the school for comment were not returned.
During the investigation, the school resource deputy reviewed security footage of the school’s hallway and interviewed students, one of whom confessed to writing the threat on the wall, according to the release. The deputy also found the red marker in possession of the student who made the confession, according to the release.
