Chattanooga lost a wonderful doctor two years ago. Every year at Christmas, Richard Krause sought out families who needed a little extra support at this special time, especially children.

Shirley Krause, who shared her husband's philanthropic spirit, wanted to honor her late husband's legacy and keep providing to others. Dr. Krause would have been delighted to see this happen.

This year, the great kids who attend Skyuka Hall in Chattanooga will now know the name of Dr. Krause. The basketball team was given a gift of new athletic shoes. Lifting people up was the medicine that Dr. Krause always prescribed. What a great lasting legacy on and off the court.
