Between shopping for gifts, decorating, making cookies and watching Christmas movies, your to-do list is rather lengthy during the holiday season. And that can take a lot out of a person.
Add to that the thought of several meals to cook on Christmas Day alone, the idea of dining out might sound quite appealing. At least, that's what area restaurants are hoping.

Here's a list of some in the Chattanooga area that will be open with Santa's elves busy in the kitchen.

-- Rodizio Grill: The downtown location, 439 Broad St., will be open 3-8 p.m. The Hamilton Place location, 2100 Hamilton Place Blvd., is closed Christmas Day.
