Arrest made in connection with Sunday shooting off Station Street in Chattanooga

A woman was arrested Wednesday in connection with the Sunday shooting off Station Street in Chattanooga that left two other women injured, according to the Chattanooga Police Department.

"On June 22, 2022, Chattanooga police major crimes investigators along with CPD patrol units arrested a suspect in relation to the shooting at 1400 Rossville Ave.," Capt. Jerri Sutton, the department's spokeswoman, said in a news release Thursday.

Shandericka Williams, 23, was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault and one count of reckless endangerment. Williams was booked into Silverdale Detention Center. No bond has been set.
