2022 is better, but here’s a few thoughts
2022 seems to be starting out much better than last year.
Thanks to two Democratic senators who refused to destroy the Senate filibuster, the Democratic woke party’s attempt to create a one-party nation by way of its so-called Voting Rights Act (or illegal immigrants/felons/dead people Voting Rights Act) failed.
Suggestion: To preserve the integrity and independence of the U.S. Supreme Court, we need a constitutional amendment locking that court at nine seats – no more, no less.
Alabama’s win on redistricting means no Democratic pickup in this year’s elections.
Suggestion: Democrats need to give up racial quotas on redistricting and instead try acting like your party’s nickname.
Freedom convoy: Way to go, Canadian truck drivers!
Suggestion: U.S. truck drivers should surround 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue by the hundreds and simultaneously blow their horns just after 7 p.m., which is Sleepy Joe’s bedtime.

Book tiff points to need for choice
Your article in Friday’s paper on the Hamilton County school board’s book committee included this comment by a parent: “We just have different ideas.” Which is exactly the point and which underscores the silliness of the Tennessee legislature attempting to establish statewide standards for age-appropriate literature in public school classrooms and libraries.
Friday’s paper also included a report on the legislature’s attempts to facilitate new charter schools. Which again is exactly the point – the point being that any education is without exception based in a fundamental world view which must include ideas about all those things which are most important in life, matters of vital importance to any conscientious parent and matters about which people greatly disagree. Education is never neutral, although we keep pretending that it is.
That parents of modest incomes should be limited in their school choice to a single state system with its prescribed world view is an injustice. The current local effort to establish book standards agreeable to an increasingly diverse county population only highlights the futility of such an effort.

The red wave vs. green wave
As now so vividly displayed on the world’s stage, the ultimate objective of the “green wave” has never been environmental condition but rather to impose a global, encompassing “red wave” using an ever-looming, manufactured environmental catastrophe as a weapon to undermine Western economies. The global socialist-sponsored war on fossil fuel, using its orchestrated threat of cataclysmic climate change, left unchecked, will result in our economic suicide while enriching enemies who have no such foolish intent; in fact, just the opposite as they construct coal plants and garner global resources.
The absolute refusal by our federal bureaucracy – overwhelmingly unelected – to serve the interests of the American people has exposed where their true allegiance resides. The United States is no longer a representative republic but rather a dictatorship ruled by executive decrees and unrestrained agencies usurping authority at an alarming rate. Congress, intended to be the strongest branch of government as the voice of the citizenry, is purposefully inert – spouting rhetoric but remaining subservient to globalist infiltrators.
Western democracies are under attack; increasingly from without and massively from within. No nation, not even the United States, can withstand the insidious infection of betrayal.
