The Tangled Tinsel Holiday Market has a new home. The festival originally scheduled this weekend at Collegedale Commons has moved about 20 miles north to Bradley Square Mall in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Shannon Wright, owner of Touch the Sky Events & Promotions, said the Collegedale Apple Festival, traditionally her biggest event of the season, overwhelmed the venue. It was held Oct. 22-23, a sunny weekend with highs in the mid-70s.

"We had over 30,000 people come through there in two days," she said by phone. "My biggest event prior to that was 10,000 in one day, with rain. The events just keep getting bigger and bigger and bigger."

The move to Bradley Square offers larger accommodations, all indoors, plus more parking, more handicap parking and multiple outlets in and out.

Wright said the change meant she "lost some vendors, but gained some others." More than 100 vendors will be set up in the hallways inside the mall, and 15 food trucks will be in the parking lot in front of the old JCPenney store.

"I'm super thankful," she said. "When God closes one door, he opens another."

Wright also has Christmas Village Holiday Markets scheduled Nov. 12-13 at Greenway Park in Cleveland and Nov. 19-20 at Camp Jordan. Her final event of seven this season, the Mistletoe Market, Dec. 10-11, has been moved from Collegedale Commons to Camp Jordan.
