Tennessee revealed plans to wear orange helmets for the first time when the No. 5 ranked Volunteers visit South Carolina Saturday night. In a social media post Tuesday evening, the university shared a photo of the uniform combination the team will wear for the game, which includes white jerseys and pants and an orange helmet with the white power 'T'.
It will mark the third alternate uniform and helmet combination the team has worn this season, after wearing the Smokey Greys at LSU and the solid black uniform and helmet against Kentucky earlier. The Vols (9-1, 5-1) kick off against the Gamecocks (6-4, 3-4) at 7 p.m. Saturday.
