Wednesday's Best of Preps Stars of the Night

The High Five

› Kimora Fields, Bradley Central: In just 20 minutes of action, Fields dominated the paint scoring 29 points while the freshman also grabbed 13 rebounds in the Bearettes 83-35 home win over Knoxville Webb.

› Tyree Smith, East Ridge: The Pioneers senior guard scored 32 points, albeit in a 62-53 loss to Boyd Buchanan.

› Emilee Worden, Walker Valley: The Lady Mustangs senior posted a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds -- six of which came on the offensive glass in a 69-44 win over Grundy County.

› Ashton Munson, East Hamilton: The Hurricanes' junior floor general took the Ridgeland Classic by storm scoring 45 points with seven 3-pointers over two games. Munson scored 20 points in Wednesday's 82-57 victory over Murray County in which East Hamilton scored 27 first quarter points.

› Ryan Lopez, Boyd Buchanan: The senior guard scored 20 points and made four 3-pointers to lead the Buccaneers to a 5-0 start to the season with a 62-53 win over East Ridge.

Boys' results

Arts & Sciences 77, Southeast Whitfield 65: Chase Pride scored 14 points and connected on three of the Patriots' nine 3-pointers in their Ridgeland Thanksgiving Classic victory, which improved them to 4-1 overall. Cal Rich led all with 15 points for the Raiders.

Walker Valley 60, Silverdale Baptist 51: Cash Coates starred in the Silverdale Thanksgiving Classic victory with a game-high 22 points. Silverdale's Houston Holland finished with 18 points and made three 3-pointers.

McCallie 70, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe 37: Five different players scored at least nine points for the Blue Tornado. Junior guard Bryce Kennebrew led McCallie with 16 points while LFO's Brent Bowman had 15.

North Sand Mountain 70, Sequatchie County 69: Senior forward Chandler Sullivan made 14 field goals in a dominant 32-point showing for the Bison. Sequatchie's attack was led by Baron Cribbs, Ryker Terry and Brenden Cotton who scored 19, 18 and 17 points, respectively.

Girls' results

Hamilton Heights 44, Boyd Buchanan 36: Shay Mimms scored 19 points and Iyanna Curtis added 15 to pace the Lady Hawks. Jada Sanders and Dani Reeves each had 13 points for Boyd.

Northwest Whitfield 66, Ridgeland 42: At the Ridgeland Thanksgiving Classic, Kennedy Baker scored 12 of her 14 points in the first half, with Lindsey Harris adding 11 for the Lady Bruins.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe 66, Ooltewah 40: Christina Collins and Angel Simmons topped the Lady Warriors with 20 and 16 points, respectively, at the Chattanooga Christian Thanksgiving tournament. MacKenzie Bernier led Ooltewah with 13.
