The High Five

› Cole McCormick, Notre Dame: The 6-foot-5 junior forward led the Fighting Irish to a 66-42 victory over Arts & Sciences in Sunday's "Court of Dreams" matchup at State Farm Arena, home of the Atlanta Hawks. McCormick scored 16 of his game-high 26 points in the second half and added three steals in Notre Dame's impressive defensive showing.

› Alex Hyder, Cleveland: The Blue Raiders improved to 4-0 on the season after winning two games in the Florida Get Down showcase in Orlando over the holiday weekend. Hyder led the way in a 50-45 win over Florida's P.K. Yonge as the senior guard scored 23 points.

› Judah Sault, Cleveland: Another playmaker for the Blue Raiders stood out in the Florida Get Down showcase as the 6-foot-5 Sault scored 21 points and added 10 rebounds to help Cleveland outlast Thomasville (Ga.) 70-61 in double overtime.

› Harmonie Ware, Bradley Central: A young star for the Bearettes, Ware led the way to an impressive 73-39 victory over Hamilton Heights in the Erie Insurance Thanksgiving Classic over the weekend at Jim Smiddy Arena. The sophomore standout scored 17 points, hit a pair of 3-pointers and had four steals in the runaway win.

› Peytn Oliver, McMinn County: The senior point guard scored 24 points, made four 3-pointers and added six assists in a tight 62-60 loss to Greeneville in the Erie Insurance Thanksgiving Classic.

Boys' results

Boyd Buchanan 72, Walker Valley 67: Senior guard Ryan Lopez continued his red-hot start to the season for the Bucs (6-0) as he scored a game-high 25 points while Caden Johnson added 18 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. Walker Valley made 10 3-pointers in the road loss.

Chattanooga Prep 61, Hixson 29: Six different players scored at least seven points for the Sentinels in their road victory. Kyrell Randolph and Derrick Roberson combined for 11 of Chattanooga Prep's 22 points in the first quarter while Joel Bulis scored nine of his 11 in the fourth quarter.

Girls' results

Sale Creek 73, CGLA 13: The Lady Panthers moved to 3-0 on the season as four players scored in double figures, with Kya Escobar leading the way with 14 points.

Cleveland 66, Howard 9: Three players scored in double figures as the Lady Raiders (5-0) scored 47 first half points and only allowed one point over the second and third quarters combined.

Boyd Buchanan 52, Walker Valley 38: Dani Reeves scored 16 points and Riley Robertson had 14 rebounds in the home win for the Lady Buccaneers.
