A Brainerd High School student was arrested after allegedly telling a teacher of plans to shoot up the school Friday morning, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

The school's resource officer investigated the incident, and a petition was filed in juvenile court to charge the student with threat of mass violence of a school, a news release states.
