Artist: Judith Jones

Medium: Cast plaster

An homage to autumn harvests, Judith Jones created this piece by first creating a clay mold. She then pressed a bushel of carrots into the clay to make an impression, finishing the cast with gilding.

"It's a little addictive," Jones says of the medium, "because results are so unpredictable...and so surprising."
