The third match of the season between the Chattanooga Football Club and the Michigan Stars produced the same results as the first two.

Each side came away with one point in the NISA standings after a nil-nil draw in Sunday's chippy match at Romeo High School in Romeo, Michigan. There was also no score when the teams played June 25 and Aug. 20 at Finley Stadium

Taylor Gray's cross from the left sideline presented a potential scoring opportunity for CFC (11-3-7, 40 points) in the 64th minute, but the ball was sent out by the Stars (7-4-7, 28 points).

The Stars, who committed 12 fouls and drew three yellow cards, had a goal from right back Stephen Elias disallowed in the 59th minute when a foul was called. CFC received one yellow card.

CFC, which has already clinched a playoff berth, faces last-place Flower City Union (2-16-3) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday on Juan Hernandez bobblehead night at Finley Stadium. CFC also has NISA regular-season matches against visiting Albion San Diego on Sept. 28 and at Michigan on Oct. 15, plus a home match against MLS Next Pro club Charlotte FC on Oct. 1.
