The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga announced Wednesday that kickoff time for Saturday's Southern Conference football game at East Tennessee State University has been changed to 3 p.m.

The game was scheduled for 7:30 p.m. but has been moved up due to weather concerns from Hurricane Ian.

UTC is seeking its third straight victory in the series dubbed the Rail Rivalry, and the Mocs (3-1, 1-0) are nationally ranked 10th by Football Bowl Subdivision coaches and 12th in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25. They're coming off a 31-0 loss at Football Bowl Subdivision member Illinois last Thursday.

ETSU (2-2, 0-2) was nationally ranked in the preseason. The Buccaneers lost back-to-back games to The Citadel and Furman before bouncing back last Saturday in a 45-3 win at Robert Morris.
