Meet 10 new business hires and promotions in the Chattanooga business community

Eric Weekley has been promoted to vice president of consumer and mortgage lending at the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union. Weekley joined TVFCU in March of 2019 after working for five years at ORNL Federal Credit Union in Knoxville as vice president of mortgage lending.

Jason Shelton has been promoted to vice president of leasing at CBL Properties. Shelton joined CBL in 1997 as a leasing manager and most recently served as CBL's senior director for national accounts.

Richard Beeland has been named administrator of economic development for city of Chattanooga. He has previously served as deputy administrator of economic and community development, human resources deputy director and communications director for the mayor.

Dr. Prabhu Vijayvargiya has joined the Buz Standefer Lung Center and CHI Memorial Lung Care Associates. Vijayvargiya, who has practiced medicine for the past 30 years, is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal, pulmonary disease and critical care medicine.

Shadrina Booker has been named director of community engagement for the city of Chattanooga. Booker formerly served as the chief development and marketing officer at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Chattanooga and is the co-founder of the creative agency Vityl Media.

Charriet Womble has been named director of regulatory compliance and a Medicare compliance officer for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. Womble has served as an ethics and compliance manager for the BlueCross Medicare Advantage program since 2020.

Lane Ford of Ford Consult has joined Market Street Partners PLLC, a Chattanooga-based accounting firm. With more than 25 years of experience, Ford has served as chief financial officer of companies in every life stage.

Sarah Moseley has been named director of product and design for the Chattanooga home building company RP Homes. She previously worked as the design coordinator at Hartman Baldwin in Southern California.

Randy Owens has been named senior vice president for leasing at CBL Properties. Owens joined CBL in 1988 as a district leasing manager and since 2017 has served as vice president of leasing for CBL.

Jasmin Celis has been named operations and administration coordinator for La Paz Chattanooga. In his new role, Celis to provide administrative support with human resources, donor cultivation, volunteer engagement and special events.
