With great patience, vision and burst, Tito Williams is ready to come downhill from the strong safety position at any moment to help blow up an opponent’s run game.
Williams showcased his run-stopping ability often last season for Bradley Central, especially in wins against Hardin Valley and Walker Valley in which he had three tackles for loss. The 6-foot-2, 183-pound playmaker also had one of the hardest hits of last season when he blindsided Cleveland’s quarterback for a jarring hit.
Not only does Williams have the toughness of a linebacker — a position his dad (Turrelle) played for Kansas State in college under Bill Snyder — but he has the agility and athletic ability to lock down receivers and make big stops against the passing game.
The Bears versatile senior captain comes in at No. 11 in the Times Free Press Dynamite Baker’s Dozen.
“I love being able to play the game I love at a high level,” Williams said. “My mom and dad have always supported me in this passion and have made sure I stayed true to myself and felt loved. They give me the inspiration to compete and be great.”
