MTV "Teen Mom" star Ryan Edwards has been arrested in Hamilton County, accused of violating an order of protection that stated he was to immediately vacate a residence where his wife was living, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

The order was issued Thursday. Around 11 a.m. Friday, Edwards' wife, Mackenzie, went to the Sheriff's Office East Annex and reported that Ryan Edwards had posted revealing photos of her to his Instagram account. She said the photos, which did not show nudity but are revealing, have since made it to national news outlets, the release said.

It was then discovered Ryan Edwards had violated the order of protection by contacting his father-in-law Thursday, telling him to let Mackenzie Edwards know he would be at the residence that day to gather his belongings, the release said.

Deputies also learned Ryan Edwards had an active warrant on a harassment charge that was taken out by the Chattanooga Police Department on Wednesday, the release said. Mackenzie Edwards was listed as the victim in that incident.

Deputies responded to a residence on Morning Glory Drive near Harrison Bay State Park to try to arrest Ryan Edwards on the outstanding warrant. The house was found to have been damaged, the release said. Officers then found Edwards at the business on Bonny Oaks Drive where he is employed. He was taken into custody and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and two bags of suspected narcotics, according to the release.

Edwards was booked into the Silverdale Detention Center. He faces the following charges: harassment (from the warrant), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. A petition to violate was also filed with the Hamilton County Magistrate's Office.

Edwards has been arrested twice before in the Chattanooga area, once in 2018 on a drug charge and again in 2019 for violating probation.
