Man injured in road rage shooting on I-75, according to Chattanooga police

A man was injured after a Saturday morning road rage incident on Interstate 75, according to the Chattanooga Police Department.

Police found the man suffering from an injury to his arm at around 11 a.m. on I-75 south near Apison Pike. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to a news release.

Police were told the victim had rolled down his window to tell an aggressive driver that he had children in his car. The suspect then fired shots into the vehicle, the release states.

The four children in the vehicle were not harmed in the incident. Police are investigating, and no arrests have been made.
