Meet these 10 new hires and promotions in the Chattanooga business community

Blake Bennett joins HHM Certified Public Accountants as partner. Bennett joined HHM in 2011 after graduating from Lee University and works in the firm's Chattanooga office. Bennett is a member of the Young Professionals Association of Chattanooga, Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Society of Certified Public Accountants and Chattanooga Tax Practitioners.

Elizabeth Marquardt promotes to membership in the Chattanooga-based law firm of Miller & Martin PLLC. Marquardt is a litigator practicing in the firm's Atlanta office. She graduated with a law degree from Emory University and a bachelor's degree in English and political science from the University of Florida. She is licensed in Georgia and Tennessee.

Cathi Swanson promotes to vice president of design and user experience with Text Request. Swanson will work with the product and marketing teams to design and build user experiences that delight customers throughout the lifetime of their engagement with Text Request.

Corey Campbell joins Cleveland State Community College as the new vice president for academic affairs. With a master's degree in sport management, Campbell began his career in education as an instructor and coordinator for the executive fitness program at Northwood University in Florida. He also worked as assistant director of student affairs at Nova Southeastern University and director of sports medicine and fitness technology at Keiser University in Florida.

Meagan Aiken, MD, joins CHI Memorial Pediatric Diagnostic Associates. Dr. Aiken received her medical degree from Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tenn., and completed her residency in pediatrics at Greenville Health System in Greenville, South Carolina. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Logan Manning joins East Ridge Residence as community relations director. In addition to managing the resident move-in process, Manning is responsible for creating and maintaining positive relationships between the community and its residents, as well as with community partners and the general public. Manning holds a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration from Lee University in Cleveland, having spent the past six years working in senior living in various capacities among varying levels of care.

Sherrell Lyon is the new vice president of human resources for Food City. Lyon brings more than 34 years of knowledge and experience to this key role, having most recently served as director of human resources for the company. Lyon has served in numerous positions throughout the company, including head cashier, grocery manager, and assistant store manager. He served as store manager for over ten years, eight of which were spent managing one of the company's highest volume locations. He served as senior human resources specialist in the Chattanooga Division before being promoted to director of human resources.

Haydynn Fike joins Workergenix as the new business development specialist in Chattanooga. Fike is a local entrepreneur and student at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He joins Workergenix from a background in hospitality, food service management and sales.

Brianna Jones, formerly the Administrative Fellow for the Artists At Work (AAW) program for Thrive, has joined ArtsBuild as the grants and programs coordinator. Jones is a Chattanooga native and graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a dual degree in Theatre and Public Administration/Nonprofit Management.

Sandra Huggins joins CHI Memorial Primary Care Associates – Atrium. Huggins received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and her master's in nursing from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tenn. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Huggins has previously worked in primary care and urgent care settings.
