Cleveland City Schools dismisses students, staff Monday after gas leak

Cleveland City Schools dismissed students and staff from Yates Primary and Ross Elementary on Monday after a reported gas leak from construction in the area, according to a news release.

In a statement, the administration said the morning dismissal was "out of an abundance of caution," and included students and employees from Yates Primary, Ross Elementary and the administrative office.

Other Cleveland area schools remained on a regular schedule for the duration of the day, according to officials.
