The Tennessee Valley's largest Christian music festival, comedian Chelsea Handler and the Battle of Resaca re-enactment are among the weekend events in the Chattanooga area.

A programming note: The Signal's shows by Bad Omens on Thursday and All Time Low on Friday are sold out, according to the venue's website.


ARTS

— Stove Works, 1250 E. 13th St., will host a screening of "Not Our Land," a documentary inspired by the Dakota Access Pipeline protests, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday. The movie relates to an art exhibition, 'Territorial: The Land and Us," on view through June 17. stoveworks.org

— The Caverns, 555 Charlie Roberts Road, Pelham, Tenn., will launch the Ride the Tide Music Festival this weekend, headlined by Southern jam band Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies. The festival's name is taken from the band's 1993 hit song, and frontman Mike Farris, who's from nearby Winchester, Tenn., chose the other 12 blues and soul bands in the lineup. — Nooga Splash, a floating aqua park, makes its summer debut Saturday at Chester Frost Park, 2277 N. Gold Point Circle, with new features and an extended season lasting through Sept. 17 this year. Three major pieces have been added to the 31-section obstacle course: the Water Wheel, Tilting Saturn and a Mini Splash section to accommodate children under 45 inches tall.
