Legacy Dental acquires Chattanooga Family Dentistry
In its fourth acquisition of another dental practice in East Tennessee, Legacy Dental Group has purchased Chattanooga Family Dentistry.
Dr. Charles Ankar, a Legacy Dental partner, said in a statement that Chattanooga Family Dentistry “has built a solid reputation over several years in our area,” and “we look forward to building on their foundation within the community.”
Legacy Dental Group’s purpose is to change the face of dentistry with a mission to provide a path for doctors who want to focus on their patients and a staff focused on opportunities to learn and grow, Ankar said.
“Chattanooga Family Dentistry will continue to provide high-quality care and a ‘wow’ experience our patients are accustomed to receiving,” said Dr. Andrew Lunn, a dentist in the practice. “It’s been a great honor for me to serve this community for the last 25 years. With Legacy Dental Group, I will continue to practice and serve patients while utilizing Legacy’s support, experience and new technologies.”
Matt Hullander, partner with Legacy Dental Group, said Legacy “is not your normal dental service organization” and seeks to help dentists “so that their practices can thrive before and after they retire.”
“Once we acquire a practice, we utilize systems that allow doctors to focus more on patient care,” he said in a statement.
Legacy Dental Group was founded by Ankar, Dr. Praug Soni, Shalin Tajini and Hullander.
