Tennessee has signed one quarterback per class since Josh Heupel became its head football coach in January 2021.
The Volunteers are now booked out through 2026.
Faizon Brandon, rated by 247Sports.com as the nation’s top quarterback and top overall prospect in the 2026 cycle, announced a nonbinding pledge to Tennessee on Saturday afternoon. The 6-foot-4, 197-pounder selected the Vols over Alabama, LSU and North Carolina State.
Brandon revealed his decision at Grimsley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he threw for 3,026 yards last season as a sophomore with 36 touchdowns and only three interceptions. He also rushed for 528 yards and nine scores, averaging 6.2 yards per carry.
“They definitely made me feel like a priority,” Brandon told GoVols247.com’s Ryan Callahan. “Every time I went back, it seems like I’m just building a new relationship. You don’t really get that everywhere, where you’re able to talk about anything with anybody.
