Mast General Store eyeing Chattanooga for a possible site

Mast General Store, the popular retailer known for its home goods, outdoor gear and candy selection, is assessing sites in Chattanooga for a potential location.

Sheri Moretz, a spokesperson for the company, said Mast General has long been interested in Chattanooga.

“Our interest in Chattanooga remains strong as we assess potential locations that will not only contribute positively to the community but also support our company’s future expansion,” she said in an email.

Moretz said the North Carolina-based company is currently gathering information regarding establishing a new store but doesn’t have an announcement.
