In 2007, Melanie Dunea debuted her masterpiece, “My Last Supper” (Bloomsbury USA, $25.49 for hardcover on Amazon). The beautiful book compiled a who’s who of the best chefs in the universe divulging what their last meal would be. She even somehow got Annie Leibovitz to take a break from shooting Ralph Lauren editorial ads to capture the stunning imagery.

For his last supper, Laurent Tourondel chose a tuna BLT from his own restaurant with a little bit of Sriracha sauce on it, french fries with Heinz ketchup and a classic glazed doughnut from Krispy Kreme.

Michelle Bernstein’s last meal would be an extravagant feast of chilled Kumamoto oysters with lemon, asparagus cooked the way she’d once had at a tapas bar in San Sebastian, Spain, lobster poached by chef Gary Danko, her momma’s lasagna and a slice of steak from Peter Luger Steak House — amongst other things.
