As a Hamilton County school board member, Angie Stone Jackson said her actions would be guided by one foundational question: Is it good for children, teachers and schools?
“I want to make a difference,” she said in an interview. “I want to help. It’s distressing to me to see teachers and kids even being stressed going to school.”
Stone Jackson, a Democrat from Ooltewah, and Republican Felice Hadden, of Ooltewah, are seeking to replace Faye Robinson, R-Ooltewah, as the District 10 representative on the Hamilton County school board. District 10 includes the Collegedale area.
