A man was shot and killed in Chattanooga on Monday night, according to police.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 3200 block of Hickory Valley Road around 10:15 p.m., Chattanooga police said in a news release Tuesday.
They found a 28-year-old man with gunshot wounds, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
It appears he was leaving a building when shot, police spokesperson Keaira Turner said in an email.
