Future development; pluses and minuses
Great news on some of Chattanooga’s future developments. But, not everything.
› The 10th and Broad Streets development: This will be a great development and rid Chattanooga of an asphalt parking lot at the same time.
› Eureka Foundry site: Another great development that will increase downtown housing and rid Chattanooga of another eyesore.
› “The Bend” Tower: A 20-story tower on the riverfront? Bad idea. This will look like a birdie finger pointed to the heavens. Buildings on the riverfront edge should not be taller than a few stories.
