U.S. Rep. Chuck Fleischmann, R-Southeast Tennessee, released a statement regarding the presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.

“Donald Trump’s victory this evening shows the path to restoring American strength and prosperity is through his America-First, Agenda 47,” Fleischmann said of the Tuesday showdown. “Donald Trump’s resilience and decisiveness is exactly why he is the only person who can turn this country around and reverse the irresponsible policies forced on the American people over the last four years.”

U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Northwest Georgia, responded to the debate on social media.

“This is ABSOLUTELY disgraceful by ABC,” she wrote. “These moderators are members of the Harris campaign. Kamala lies and lies, but they don’t correct her. An absolute attack on Trump.”
