The storyline of last year’s Division II-AAA BlueCross Bowl championship is well-documented.

Baylor players, coaches and supporters certainly remember. McCallie fans will never forget, either.

McCallie rallied from being down 21-0 in the second quarter to upset a top-ranked, previously unbeaten Baylor team that had handed the Blue Tornado the most lopsided loss in that rivalry’s history during the regular season.

The memory of what took place in that frigid second half at Finley Stadium still sends stunned chills throughout those in red and gray and will warm the hearts of big blue backers for years to come.

While the page has been turned and both sides are intently focused on the coming season, the outcome of that memorable matchup still serves as motivation for each.
