There was a familiar scene at the Hamilton County Courthouse on Wednesday morning.

The seats on one side of the County Commission meeting room were filled with residents from the county’s unincorporated areas — mainly Ooltewah, Harrison, Walden’s Ridge and Sale Creek.

On the other side of the aisle sat representatives from the housing industry, including about a dozen people in neon yellow shirts from a site development division of Chattanooga-based Pratt Home Builders.
