Tennessee’s reach in college football’s 2026 recruiting cycle now includes Utah.
The Volunteers on Thursday afternoon received a commitment from Salesi Moa, a 6-foot-2, 190-pounder from Ogden, Utah. The five-star athlete prospect made his announcement online via CBS Sports.
“Ever since I was young, I saw Tennessee as a big stage,” Moa said after donning a Vols hat. “I wasn’t going to let that opportunity slip away.”
Moa racked up 58 receptions for 800 yards and 10 touchdowns as a Fremont High School junior, and he also amassed 335 yards on kickoff and punt returns. Defensively, he tallied 40 tackles and two interceptions.
He is the nation’s No. 31 overall recruit in the 247Sports.com composite rankings and the No. 2 athlete prospect. Moa took official visits in recent weeks to Michigan, Michigan State, Utah and Washington in addition to Tennessee.
The Vols now have 23 nonbinding pledges, with their commitments ranking ninth nationally behind Georgia, Southern California, Texas A&M, Alabama, Notre Dame, Texas, Ohio State and Oregon.
