Amid a second Donald Trump administration unlawfully wreaking havoc on the federal administrative state — led by unelected billionaire bureaucrat Elon Musk — U.S. Rep. Chuck Fleischmann is nowhere to be found.

As Musk and his non-department Department of Government Efficiency take a chainsaw to the IRS, Social Security, Medicare, Department of Education and other essential public services, our Republican representative in D.C. refuses to face his constituents.

And it’s not just during this ongoing constitutional crisis that Fleischmann, whose district spans from Chattanooga to Oak Ridge, has chosen to run and hide like the coward he is. As reported by the Chattanooga Times Free Press recently, the representative hasn’t held an in-person town hall since 2011, his first year in Congress.

Since Fleischmann refuses to speak with his constituents, the Chattanooga Times attended an anti-Trump protest at Miller Park on Wednesday to see what the representative’s employers had to say about his inaction.
